The company is active throughout the value chain, developing and constructing housing, commercial properties, industrial facilities and public-sector buildings, roads and surfacing, as well as other infrastructure.
NCC also offers input goods for construction and provides road surfacing and roadworks. NCC is creating future environments for work, housing and communication with responsible construction that provides for sustainable interaction between people and the environment.
NCC in Sweden had carried out a major reorganisation in order to become more customer-focused, increase efficiency and, in particular, to boost cost-efficiency. The business had changed considerably in recent years, owing principally to a greater need for mobility and tools for meeting customers. Its telecoms and telecommunications were mainly based on traditional PBX-based solutions.
- Develop a strategy and focus for objectives that are aligned with the company’s strategies.
- Define and clarify needs and requirements for competitive procurement.
- Support NCC in the procurement process.
- Implement the new solution and coordinate the supplier and NCC’s processes.
As a result of a specific strategy and objectives based on the needs of business operations, the procurement resulted in the future-proof design that NCC wanted. Owing to a clear process from requirements, through procurement to implementation, the conditions were created for effective management and the objectives were achieved.
